    Fall 2021 Broward College Dual Enrollment/Early Admissions

    Testing & Registration Information

    New Students to Broward College Dual Enrollment & Early Admissions
     

    Students who wish to start Broward College Dual Enrollment in the Fall for the first time AND who do not have qualifying test scores, please complete the forms questionnaire at the link below by March 31st. 

    Students who started BC Dual Enrollment in the Spring semester (current semester), DO NOT have to test for Fall Term.   

    Once the questionnaire below is completed, Ms. Ammann will submit the student information to Broward College.  The Testing Center will then create a voucher and send it to the student via the personal e-mail address provided.  Once students receive their testing voucher they need to schedule and take the Accuplacer Next Gen. (remote testing) within 30 days of receiving. You can access the questionnaire by clicking here.

     

    New & Returning Students to Broward College Dual Enrollment & Early Admissions

    Please send a copy of your eligible test scores (ACCUPLACER, PERT, ACT, or SAT) to betty.ammann@browardschools.com
    Click here for qualifying scores. Tests may be combined to meet eligibility.

     

    It is required for ALL students to complete the multi-step electronic Recommendation Formbelow.  It must be completed and approved by 1st - the student, 2nd - the parent, 3rd Ms. Ammann, and finally 4th - a BC representative. 

    Prior to completing the BC Dual Enrollment Recommendation Form, students must already have their BC ID and BC Email Address from the online BC application they submitted. Students must also log into their BC account and set up security questions before accessing the form. Click here to access students BC account.

    Both the student and parent portion MUST be completed and to the School Counselor by April 22, 2021.

    Please know that until you have received an email from Broward College approving you to register for specific classes, you will not be able to sign up for your classes when registration begins on May 27, 2021.

    A few reminders when submitting your list of course selections for School Counselor approval:

    All current Dual Enrollment/Early Admissions initial and continuing eligibility information and state approved course list can be found at www.broward.edu/dual.
    Check for pre-requisites and/or co-requisites to make sure you are eligible to take course. 
    In the Comment section for students - Note any passing AP/AICE exam scores if you are using as pre-requisite into a course.
    In the Comment section for students - Note if any courses listed are taken at JPT
    Review both high school and college credit awarded for each course.
