    The academic requirements to attend Hallandale High School:

    • Unweighted Grade Point Average: 2.5 (core classes)
    • Florida Standards Assessment scores (English Language Arts and Mathematics): level 3 or greater. If FSA scores are not available, applicants must provide nationally recognized standardized test scores in reading and mathematics: score 50% or greater.

    Magnet Application Process:

    Step 1.  Student Identification Number - Prior to completing a magnet application, you will need to ensure your child has a student identification number with Broward County Public Schools. You may secure a student identification number from any public school in Broward County.

    Step 2.  Choose Your Application Option and Apply Today - For your convenience the Magnet Application is online. Select the appropriate link below to complete your application today! Please be advised admission into one of our award-winning magnet programs is subject to eligibility. The Magnet application process varies for in-boundary and out-of-boundary students. In-boundary students are those whose home school is Hallandale Magnet High School. Out-of-boundary students are those who are assigned to a different high school, based on their home address.

    Transportation:

    Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) provides transportation for magnet students attending Hallandale High School residing inside of Broward County more than two miles from the school and south of Sunrise Blvd.

    • The transportation schedule is mailed to parents of registered students prior to the first day of school by BCPS Transportation Department.
