     Mr. Kevin A. Peters

    Greetings Broward Estates ES stakeholders!

It is an esteemed honor and privilege to serve as the Proud Assistant Principal of this institution, affectionately known as “The Bee-Hive.”

Upon reflecting on the last 18 months, it is evident that nothing was “normal.” Challenges, seen and unseen, required a strategic and innovative approach to fundamentally support the varying needs of staff, parents, families and most importantly, our scholars. This essentially meant that we all had to step out of our respective comfort zones and acquire new skills. Whether it was understanding the fundamentals of Teams/Zoom, analyzing the complexities of Canvas, or simply adjusting to the digital realm; As a collective unit, we came together in the name of student learning. This was to ensure our students received a quality learning experience whether it was face to face or virtual.

As we delve into a new school year, we remain committed to student achievement. Every scholar who steps foot on campus is entitled to a first class education. In this, we will enhance our pedagogical delivery via innovative instructional strategies, high quality professional development opportunities, fortified partnerships as well as authentic feedback from our most prized possession- the scholars! In order to be “The Best,” we must ensure that we embrace a growth mindset and propel ourselves to a greater dimension.

Please know that I am always here should you have any questions, concerns or inquiries. As a key stakeholder, your input holds weight and is highly valued. I am committed to carrying out our school’s goal of scholastic excellence. I look forward to your partnership and support.

Let’s make this year the best one yet! There’s GREATNESS in all of us!

    Educationally,
