Alternative High School

  • Our alternative high school offers students the opportunity  to obtain a high school diploma and start their future. The program offers student transportation to and from campus, breakfast and lunch in our school cafeteria, a media center, and technology-rich learning environments.

Our high school program offers core courses and a variety of elective courses that promote college readiness, and school-to-work skills.

Our curriculum is delivered through a competency-based format, allowing students to earn credit upon demonstration of mastery of skills. Students work at their own pace in an environment that is tailored to meet their unique needs.

Our unique offerings allow students to complete their high school diploma at Henry D. Perry Education Center, or return to their ‘home’ school if their goal is to recover credits lost through retention or other circumstances.

Alternative high school students who enroll with us are eligible for the Career Dual Enrollment opportunity; they can attend Henry D. Perry Education Center and Sheridan Technical College at the same time.
