The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:
- an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
- a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
- a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

Sunshine After School Child Care, Inc. Approved by the School Board
Sunshine has been providing quality year-round childcare programs since 1992 as a not-for-profit 501©(3). Sunshine offers our diverse communities in Broward
County with affordable after school care programs and non-school day camp programs for winter, spring and summer breaks (including teacher planning days and select holidays). Sunshine currently provides safe and secure quality services to over 2,500 children year-round!
Activities and Services Offered:Individual healthy snack / juice or the SBBC Supper program, daily quiet Homework time, Hands on Science, Reading, Technology, Character Education, Arts and Crafts, Music, Dance, Social Skills, Intermural Sports and much more.

Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete an application online at https://sunshinefl.com/after-school-programs/Please note an application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability. If the program has reached capacity, your child(ren) will be added to the program’s wait list.
