Literacy Coach
  • My name is Taneka Martin and I am delighted to serve as the Literacy Coach at Riverland Elementary. I am a proud graduate of Florida A&M University in elementary education. I went on to pursue my Masters in Educational Leadership and Reading. I continued my education and obtained my Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. As the Literacy Coach my goal is to enhance the literacy skills of all students, to help ensure they reach their highest potential in reading, writing, and language arts. I am committed to providing engaging and challenging academic opportunities to all students.

Reading is important, because if you can read, you can learn anything about everything and everything about anything. —Tomie dePaola
