  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

  • Drumline

    Description:

    The Drumline provides entertainment and music through Cymbals, Snare, Tenor, Bass drums and Drum Major Performances. The students are developing responsibility, self‐discipline, teamwork, leadership skills, higher-level reasoning skills, building strong bonds with one another, and most importantly, having fun all the while!

    Schedule:

    The Drumline meets after school during fall, winter and spring season on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:00pm to 3:00pm every week. Additional rehearsals are scheduled as needed, with one week advance notice.

  • Debate Club

    Description:

    Members of the Debate Team develop the ability to analyze controversies, select and evaluate evidence, construct and refute arguments, become stronger writers and analytical thinkers, build self-esteem, public speaking/communication skills and much more. Students will be able to clarify their personal and social values through confrontation with value judgments of others. Our team goal is to promote school and community relations through participation in intellectual activity, meeting and interacting with students from other schools in the context of social interactions and realizing the simultaneous opportunities for leadership and group participation. Students are required to participate in county-wide tournaments at Northeast High School and attend weekly meetings.

    Schedule:

    Meetings- Every Tuesday 2:00 - 3:00
