Principal's Message

    Dear QWE Families,

I want to thank all of you for an outstanding start to our 2022-2023 school year. It began with a Blast, as we have “Blasted off on a Learning Adventure.” Our teachers are focused on providing a rigorous instruction and the students are engaged in the learning.

Communication is the key to your child’s success. I encourage our families to stay connected to Quiet Waters by checking out our website frequently. Listen to and read the parents links that are sent out, check your child’s planner and communication from the teacher daily. If you are not receiving the Parent Links, please contact the front office to ensure we have the correct phone number and email address.

Reminder attendance counts every day. We need your child at school every day on time and ready to learn. School begins at 8:00am, students should be in their seats by 7:55am. The cafeteria opens at 7:15am for breakfast.

We count on you to get involved at QWE. PTA is always looking for assistance with their programs and projects, contact them at Register to become a volunteer, check out our website for the link. Attend our SAC/SAF meetings, they are held on the last Monday of the month at 7:00am

The State’s new accountability assessment is given three times during the school year. The first two F.A.S.T. Assessments will serve as progress monitoring; the assessments inform the teachers about which benchmarks are being mastered and which ones need more attention. The third F.A.S.T Assessment will determine overall success and promotion/retention implications.

Our staff is here to serve your child and ensure that they receive the best education.

    Proud Principal,

    Geoff Henning
