    Welcome from the Principal

    Dear Seminole Middle Families,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year.  A special welcome to the incoming 6th graders and their parents as you embark on your journey through middle school.  We are beginning the school year via e-learning and there are a number of positive changes that will be rolled out on August 19th.    First, there will be a schedule that students will follow each day to receive live, daily, virtual teaching.  In addition, there will be daily evening help sessions on Teams for students that need assistance in doing independent work.  Parents are asked to monitor student engagement and participation in daily class meetings and monitor their progress in submitting assigned work.

While it is our desire to teach face-to-face, the state of the Covid-19 virus in Florida requires us to start the school year virtually.  We will be posting important information to our website with updates on our virtual Open House, and all other meetings and activities for Seminole Middle.  I appreciate your patience and support as we work through these unprecedented times together.  Please know that we are focused on making the e-learning experience as positive and productive as possible.

The faculty and staff at Seminole are a dedicated group of individuals that all contribute to the success this school has enjoyed through the years.  When parents and staff partner together, students have the best chance to succeed at their highest potential.  In order to do this, we need your support and involvement in monitoring your student’s participation in daily class meetings and academic progress.
