    October 28, 2019 through November 15, 2019, BHE will be collecting nonperishable food items and canned goods. Please help us reach our collection goal of 300 items: cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix and syrup, stuffing, canned gravy, canned cranberries, canned sweet potatoes, tuna or meat, macaroni and cheese, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, beans, soup, vegetables, peanut butter and jelly in plastic container.  No glass containers.

    Friday-Unite for a safe and drug free school- Wear red to celebrate living a drug free life. (National Red Ribbon Day)

    Monday-Be a Leader who gives drugs the boot- Wear boots to show that you’ll kick drugs out your life.            

    Tuesday-Don’t get tied up in a bad choice- Wear a tie, bowtie, hair bows to show that you make a choice for a drug free lifestyle.

    Wednesday-Make healthy, positive choices and shade out drugs- Wear sunglasses to shade out negativity and focus on positive choices for a bright future.

    ThursdayMake good choices and sock it to drugs- Wear crazy or mismatched socks showing that you aren’t afraid to say no to drugs.

    McArthur Zone Parents please join us Thursday, October 10th from 6 to 8 pm at West Hollywood Elementary for an informative session on the Family Strengthening Program offered by Hispanic Unity.

     Information:

    Free, fun and interactive 10-weeks family workshop for both parents and children.  Dinner, refreshments and childcare will be provided!

    Each family who signs up will receive a $80.00 gift card and a certificate after successful completion of the 12-week program.
