Read for the Record Friendship Day Vocabulary Dress-Up 10/29/2020

    Parents and students,
This year, our chosen book for “Read for the Record” is Evelyn Del
Rey is Moving Away. This is a book in celebration of lasting friendship.
On October 29, 2020, we invite students to dress up as a character
from a book that they would value as a friend. Also, please choose a
vocabulary word that describes a valued quality of friendship. For
example, Harry Potter would be a great friend because he is
“courageous”. So, “courageous” is the vocabulary word that describes
why he is valued as a friend. Please take photos and send to your child’s
teacher if you allow us to post student photos on social media.
