  • Dear Boulevard Heights Families and Community,

    As we step into a new year, I want to extend my heartfelt wishes for a happy and prosperous 2025 to our entire Boulevard Heights family. It’s a time for new beginnings and renewed commitments, and there’s no better time to refocus on our shared educational goals.

    Focus on Educational Goals

    At Boulevard Heights, our mission is to foster an environment where every student can thrive. This quarter, we emphasize the importance of maintaining our focus on educational achievements. We are thrilled to celebrate a remarkable student growth of 17% in Reading from 18% to 35% and 16% in Math from 9% to 25% from PM1 to PM2. This progress is a testament to the hard work of our students, teachers, and parents alike.


    Attendance and Parent Involvement

    To continue our journey toward achieving our wildly important goals, we need your support and consistent attendance. Regular school attendance is crucial for student success, as it ensures that your child doesn’t miss out on essential learning opportunities.

    We also recognize the invaluable role of parent involvement. Your active engagement in your child’s education can make a significant difference. We encourage you to schedule parent-teacher conferences to stay informed about your child’s progress and to discuss ways to support their learning at home.

    Enhancing Academic Growth

    To support academic growth, we are excited to announce that we will be identifying third through fifth grade students to receive additional small group instruction both during school and after school. This initiative aims to provide targeted support to help students reach their full potential.

    Additionally, we will be administering our FAST STAR assessments to our kindergartners and first graders. All students from kindergarten through fifth grade will take the middle-of-the-year science assessment as a progress monitoring tool. These assessments will provide valuable insights into our students’ progress and help us tailor our teaching strategies to meet their needs.


    Upcoming Events

    We invite all parents to attend the upcoming SAC meeting on January 8 at 7:30 AM, where we will discuss important updates and initiatives. On January 14, join us for the District Showcase, an exciting opportunity to learn more about our school district's offerings. Lastly, don’t miss our upcoming Literacy Night on January 29. We look forward to a wonderful evening,

It fills us with immense joy and passion to be a part of your children’s growth and development.
