Greetings Pine Ridge Families and Community,

I am excited to welcome our students and families back to another fantastic school year. Congratulations to Pine Ridge Education Center for receiving the 2023-24 highest school rating of COMMENDABLE by the State of Florida. The Commendable rating is equivalent to an "A" for non-traditional schools. Pine Ridge Education Center faculty and staff work to transform behaviors and improve our students' academic success. This year's theme is "We Are All In The Same Boat Sailing To Success." It is truly a privilege to serve this school community, where we are a team that impacts the lives of our students. We strive to build a solid and great team to overcome academic and social-emotional barriers. We aim to work collaboratively to provide an inclusive, safe, respectful, and nurturing environment that empowers our students to be productive community members.

We look forward to a successful year filled with impacting learning and, as a result, increasing learning gains and opportunities. Pine Ridge solicits community partners to join our team to assist us with our academic and social-emotional goals this year. In addition, we welcome our parents and all stakeholders to join the School Advisory Council (SAC) and our School Advisory Forum (SAF), where we can collaborate on ways to enhance the experiences of Pine Ridge.

As we take the team on another wonderful year, we ensure that our students' safety comes first. Broward County School District is a student-centered school district. Therefore, as a team, we are all working to make them winners.  

I am proud to be the captain working with all stakeholders for another school year with a COMMENDABLE rating. We look forward to a great year!
