Adrian enters his first year as Athletic Director. Previously, he taught PE and Math at West Broward High School. He was the head boys’ basketball coach at University School for eight years, in which he led them to a state title and finished runner-up in the Geico National Championship in 2017-2018. He is also the program director for Team Florida, an independent travel basketball organization. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Emory University and Master of Science in Sports Administration from Georgia State University.

Angie is in her 5th year at Cypress Bay. This is her 3rd year as Assistant Athletic Director. Her background is in education, having been a teacher, principal, and coach at all levels. She has traveled the country as a #Coastie, settling here in south Florida 11 years ago. Her favorite things are her four kids, two of whom are participating in their sport at the next level (Max--Keiser University Swimming and Kolby--Penn State-York Baseball). Angie's two youngest are still in high school and middle school, respectively. Angie has been the Varsity Swimming and Diving Assistant Coach and will be starting her third season as Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach.

James is excited to start his first year with the Lightning.  He comes to us from Indian Ridge Middle School, where he served as a PE teacher and coach the past two years for golf, basketball, and flag football.  James also spent last year as a coach at Western High School for girls basketball and flag football as well.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University.  James’ favorite activities outside of work include softball, fishing, and golfing.
