Life at the Ridge

  • To participate in a school club, a student must have a signed BCPS parental consent form on file for EACH organization they wish to participate in. Please see the individual club sponsor for any questions.

Many IRMS clubs also require an annual dues payment for students to join. Visit the e-Store to make a payment.

IRMS also has many festivals and events throughout the year, including the Straight A breakfasts, school dances, Student Council talent show, Hispanic Heritage Festival, Harvest Drive, Red Ribbon Week, Black History Month Showcase, Book Fairs, band concerts, end of the year field trips, and more.

  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your high school and college resumé. For more information on individual clubs, watch the WJAG Morning Announcements or speak to the club sponsor.
