    Hello Jaguar Families,

    Let me first start by saying on behalf of the entire IRMS Jaguar staff, we miss seeing our Jaguars and their families each and every day! We hope you and your families are staying healthy and well.  As you know, school will remain closed until at least April 15th, and during this time we will provide instruction online via our District's Canvas portal.  Please rest assured that our entire Jaguar team has been working tirelessly to prepare for this transition beginning Monday, March 30th.

    We have provided resources on our website that contain everything you need to continue your instruction online.  Please visit our website and click on the "Distance Learning Support for Students and Families" link. This will walk you through what you should be doing now and what to expect once school officially begins again on March 30th. You can also access a Canvas Learning Hub full of resources for parents and students. 

    Additionally, I would like to advise you of some important upcoming dates. The week of March 30th will be devoted to closing out the 3rd quarter.  Parents/guardians, please have your students log into Pinnacle before we resume classes on Monday, March 30th and identify any missing assignments he/she may have from the end of the 3rd quarter.  Third quarter will close and grades will be pulled on April 2nd, so students will have the first few days of next week to communicate with their teachers and identify what needs to be handed in to finalize their third quarter grades. 

    We will officially begin new instruction for the 4th quarter on April 6th.  You will need to log into Canvas daily to identify the weekly lessons and assignments that are due each week.  Your teachers will have online office hours daily where they will be available to assist you in answering questions you may have regarding assignments.  The schedule for all teachers is attached and also on our website under "District Learning Support for Students and Families". 

    As we transition to this new format, there are still a lot of questions that our district is working through each day.  We do know that there will be no state standardized tests administered this school year nor will any school be issued a school grade.   As soon as new information is available, I will communicate it to you.
