Principal's Message

  • Prinicpal Phillips

Welcome to Castle Hill Elementary School, home of the Cavaliers! It is my honor and pleasure to serve as your Principal. I am so excited about a year filled with amazing learning experiences, growth, relationship building, and, of course, fun. Last year we set out on an incredible mission to increase student achievement.

Castle Hill increased proficiency and learning grades across the board, solidifying our move from a two-year “D” to a solid “C”, just 3% shy of earning a “B”. Together we made learning possible!

This year we are Going for the Gold…Growing Optimal Learners Daily! We will continue to set high expectations for all scholars, maximize our time and resources, and increase student achievement in Reading, Math, and Science. It is our goal to prepare, practice and perform at the highest levels of achievement possible.

Our school provides a safe, secure, and inviting learning environment every day. It is everyone’s responsibility to make this happen, so we need all stakeholders to adhere to our safety and security protocols when visiting the campus. This includes traffic rules during arrival and dismissal. All visitors must present a government-issued identification to enter the campus.

We encourage and appreciate your support as your scholar navigates a new school year.  I look forward to working together and building a strong partnership with the CHE Community that will allow our scholars to become critical thinkers and life-long learners.

Communication between home and school is very important. I encourage each of you to remain active throughout the school year. Always keep the lines of communication open with your scholar’s teacher and the school. We will keep you updated throughout the year via our school website, flyers, the marquee, Parentlink and teacher direct messages. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school directly at 754-322-5600. Thank you for trusting us with your scholar.

    Sincerely,

    Letitia Ingram-Phillips
