    SACS Accreditation

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) establish standards for accreditation of elementary schools in all areas of the school program. Examples would include class size, number and age of books in the media center, certifications for staff, amount of support staff, curriculum design, early childhood requirements, etc. Not all districts accredit their elementary schools as Broward County does. Central Park has earned its accreditation.
