School counselors promote and enhance achievement with an annual comprehensive school counseling plan that ensures that every student receives school counseling services. Credentialed school counselors provide comprehensive counseling programs that incorporate prevention and intervention with continuous academic, career, and personal/development activities that will prepare them for meaningful participation in a diverse, changing world. These activities include classroom guidance, small groups for skill mastery, individual counseling for students with specific needs, and a variety of other proactive and innovative ways to support student performance.
School counselors implement a program based on the National Standards for School Counseling Programs and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model. They also provide resources to staff, students, families, and others to ensure that a family-friendly environment is established and ensure that students have access to a safe school climate necessary for academic and social/emotional growth.
Parents are always welcome to come in or call 754-323-5500 for assistance or advice.

Corey Levit K-2nd Grade
Hello Eagle Point Family!
My name is Mr. Levit, and I am one of the two amazing school counselors here at Eagle Point Elementary! Eagle Point is the first Elementary School I have worked at, and I hope it is my last. I grew up on Long Island, New York and am the biggest Knicks and Giants fan you will ever meet. Outside of school I love to play sports, play ball with my dog, and watch TV shows like Stranger Things!
Please remember that the school counselor’s office is always a safe place to come and express any good or bad feelings you may be having. We are here to support you in any way possible, and I hope to get the chance to get to know each and every one of you!
Best,
Mr. Corey Levit

Beatriz Segovia 3rd-5th Grade
Hello Eagles!
My name is Miss. Segovia and I am one of your Eagle Point school counselors! I am so excited to get to know you all. I have been working for Broward County Public Schools for six years. I have had many roles, but my favorite ones were by far when I got to be a third grade teacher as well as a fifth grade teacher. I am extra happy to be here as I actually came to Eagle Point as a student myself for third, fourth, and fifth grade! I enjoy all things mental health and social emotional learning, especially whole group lessons and fun Friday activities. I also love sushi, ice cream, Disney, my dog Coco, Starbucks, cowgirl boots, Harry Potter, reading, and so much more! I'm so excited for my first year here at Eagle Point and I'm anticipating my best year yet!
If you ever need to get in contact with me or Mr. Levit, head over to the home page of this canvas course and click the "Talk To Us" button. You will be redirected to our referral page where you will find several ways to contact us. I hope you have a wonderful school year!
Love,
Ms. Beatriz Segovia
