    Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 Family:

Penguins and Future Penguins.  Thank you for taking the time to stop by our school’s website to learn more about the amazing things happening at Annabel C. Perry PreK-8.  While great things are happening daily at A.C. Perry regarding academic adventure in learning, I am most proud to announce that Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 is kicking off the new year with the distinction of being identified as a “B” rated school.  I am also excited to continue our work of the Primary Years Programme by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB).  This distinction separates our students as learners by teaching them to inquire, question, explore, and learn more about the world around them.   Our goal at Annabel C. Perry Pre K-8 is to provide every student with a world-class education as we continue to introduce new initiatives and programs that will support ALL students.   This goal remains unchanged even throughout this year as we work with new partners such as Verizon Innovative and The Food Forrest to provide even more opportunity for our students.

Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 has had great success over the past few years in not only moving student achievement, but also in building a “Culture of Caring” where all students are valued.  I believe that as a school, our greatest strengths are the relationships we build with our students, families, and community.  As we continue to work collectively on our home-to-school connection, it is more important than ever that we keep the safety of our students as our top priority.  With this in mind, we need everyone’s support, and if YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.  You can find several easy-to-use reporting methods on our website.

My commitment as principal is to ensure every student at Annabel C. Perry Pre K-8 is surrounded with and supported by nothing but caring professionals who are dedicated to excellence.  In addition, I will continue to provide you with the most up to date information on any changes as they become available.  I encourage you to get involved and follow our journey on Twitter (@Annabel_C_Perry.)

I can be reached at 754-323-7050 or thomas.correll@browardschools.com and look forward to hearing from you as we partner together for a common goal of student success.

    Sincerely,
