• Hello Current and Future Penguin Families,   

      

    Welcome to Penguin Land! Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 went from a “C” to a “B” school as rated by the Florida Department of Education last school year. This was due to the hard work and dedication from our students, teachers, and parents. 

     

    It is an honor and privilege to serve as the PROUD Principal at Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 School. For the past 25 years I have served as an educator. Twenty of those years were in the city of Miramar, and I am excited to continue my work as a principal in the Miramar Zone.  

      

    We will continue our work with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).  This distinction separates our students as learners by teaching them to inquire, question, explore, and learn more about the world around them.  

      

    The vision of Annabel C. Perry PreK-8 School is to provide each student with a world-class education within “A Culture of Caring” where all students are valued. Our faculty and staff are continuing to work collaboratively to ensure that we provide high-quality instruction for your child, while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. As your PROUD Principal, I encourage all families to be involved in their child's daily learning. Please be sure to communicate with your child’s teacher, monitor your child's academic progress, volunteer, attend parent nights, attend monthly School Advisory Council/School Advisory Forum Meetings.  We also encourage you to continue to utilize our school website at www.browardschools.com/perryelem to receive up-to-date information on the events and activities taking place at our school. You can also follow us on X @Annabel_C_Perry. 

      

    With your help and support, we will collaboratively build a successful path for your child from elementary school to middle school, and then to high school. Remember, the path to excellence is a continuous journey and we are here to support our school community along the way.
