    “Gratitude and Warm Wishes”

It’s difficult to believe that this school year has come to a close. It feels as though it was just days ago that we welcomed in the new school year with great excitement and high expectations. Thanks to our dedicated staff and the unwavering support we’ve received from our students’ parents, it has been another wonderful school year.

Having stated this, as you make summer plans, we kindly ask that you continue to support our school’s efforts by ensuring that your children read for 20 to 30 minutes every day, without exception. As the research clearly shows, students who remain academically engaged and read through the summer months maintain their reading stamina and the performance levels they worked so hard all school year to attain.

Additionally, please note that Broward County Public Schools is continuing the implementation of a Summer Work Days schedule for 2022. As such, all employees will work Monday through Thursday, and all District offices will close on Fridays. The mandatory four-day workweek will begin the week of Monday, June 13th and end on Friday, August 5th. Normal work hours will resume on Monday, August 8th.

Nonetheless, if you have any school-related questions, such as registration and transportation questions, we encourage you to contact our school office at (754) 323-7200 between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday. Please call 911 for emergency matters and Broward Schools Safety and Security at (754) 321-3500 for non-emergency matters.

In closing, we thank you for another wonderful school year and for the privilege of serving you and your amazing children. We wish you and your family a safe, restful, and relaxing summer.
