    I am thrilled and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Whispering Pines School (WPS) for another school year. I want to warmly welcome all students, parents/guardians, and members of our school community. This school year presents us with new opportunities, challenges, and possibilities for growth and success. Together, we can create a positive and enriching learning for our students, where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

    At WPS, we embrace and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual, recognizing that each student possesses diverse needs, abilities, and strengths. The staff and the administrative team hold the highest standards for all students at WPS. High expectations for student respect, responsibility, and integrity help create a positive learning environment where all students feel enthusiastic about their school experiences.

    Collaborating with the staff, students, families, and community members at Whispering Pines School creates a culture that promotes lifelong learning. Our students are engaged in various learning opportunities and programs that celebrate diversity, encourage empathy, and cultivate a sense of belonging for everyone within our classrooms and the community.

  • Ms. Erica Alexander, Assistant Principal

    I would like to reintroduce myself as Erica Alexander, the new Assistant Principal at Whispering Pines.  I earned a Bachelors in Criminal Justice a of Florida Memorial University and continued my advanced degree at Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership. 

     My educational career began in Broward County in 2007 as a classroom teacher. In addition, I worked in Miami-Dade as a social studies teacher, department chair, textbook coordinator, and Assistant Principal during 2016-2018. I came to Whispering Pines in 2019 and worked in various paths including Department Chair, BRACE Advisor, Testing Coordinator and now Assistant Principal. 

     

    I am so excited to bring my experience and knowledge to the Panther family. I have known, adore, and educated our population. I look forward to an amazing school year and maintaining that fiery passion of the Whispering Pines Family.
