This year we will be Setting our Sails for Success!
We will SEAS the "A" by Successfully Engaging All Students!
Mr. Donald E. Lee, Principal
Welcome back to the 2019-2020 school year. I am looking forward to another fantastic year at Cresthaven with my wonderful students and their families. As I enter my 3rd year as your principal, I continue to be overwhelmed by this tremendous community.
Our dedicated and passionate staff is committed to fostering a learning environment where safety, respect, accountability, and support are highly evident. We embrace a growth mindset that encourages learners to seek, examine, experience and develop by embracing learning opportunities. While focusing on academics, we also focused on developing the social and emotional well-being of our students.
In an effort to provide a “Koala-ty” educational experience for all students, I want to implore your assistance. I want to encourage our entire Cresthaven family to actively participate in all school activities. In addition to the school-wide activities, there are many opportunities for you to be part of our school and a part of your child’s educational successes. I welcome your participation as a volunteer or as a member of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA), School Advisory Council (SAC), or School Advisory Forum (SAF).
As we enter this school year, please familiarize yourselves with changes to our school's protocols as it relates to safety and security. Click here for more information.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these procedural changes, please feel free to reach out to the office or myself. I look forward to another year leading this amazing school!
Donald E. Lee,
Mrs. Jan Heavner, Assistant Principal
Dear Cresthaven Elementary Community,
Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! It is a privilege and an honor to serve as the Assistant Principal of such an amazing school. Let’s get ready to set sail for success and SEAS the “A” under the leadership of our principal, Mr. Donald E. Lee.
Cresthaven has a history of academic excellence and our “Koala-ty” staff will continue to challenge students as they engage them in deeper thinking through a rigorous curriculum to prepare for their futures. I will personally strive to make sure each child can grow as a learner and at the same time be joyful in a safe and positive learning environment.
Be sure to join and support our wonderful PTA. Please participate in our monthly SAC meetings so that your voice is heard with regards to our school improvement plan.
Parent involvement, the passion of our educators, and the support of the community are all part of what makes Cresthaven sail. I look forward to a great year.
Mrs. Jan Heavner,
Proud Assistant Principal
