It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself to you as your new principal.  My name is Michelle Padura, I am thrilled to be joining such a vibrant community and look forward to working together to support our students through their educational journey.

I come to Western High School with twenty-four years of experience serving the students at Broward County Public Schools.  Most recently, I served as principal at Stranahan High School for the last nine years.  My passion for education and strong commitment to educational excellence drives my dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive.

I am a firm believer that collaboration among teachers, staff, parents, and the community is essential for creating a successful learning experience. I am committed to maintaining open lines of communication, and I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, ideas, or concerns you may have.  As we embark on this school year, I am excited to build relationships with each of you and to learn more about our school’s rich traditions and values.
