A licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for patient care and works:
- Under Supervision of Registered Nurse & Physician
- In Hospitals
- In Medical Care Clinics
- In Physician's Offices
- In Home Health & Hospice Agencies
- In Schools
- In Private Duty Practice
- In Nursing Homes
- In Rehabilitation Centers
Students in this program must have the ability to handle responsibility and be interested in caring for patients of all ages.
Laboratory, theory, and clinical experiences are integrated, with one-half of the program spent in health care facilities providing patient care.
This course is a one year program.
