Broward County Public Schools serve over 32,000 students with disabilities and offers a free and appropriate public education for all students. Services and programs are available to meet the individual needs of students eligible for special education and related services, ages 3 through 22. Eligible students are provided supports and/or services as per their Individual Education Plan (IEP) that are based on each child’s unique needs. The Cypress Bay ESLS (Exceptional Student Learning Support) program is a group of caring and experienced professionals with expertise in many different disabilities. Our compassion, vision, and most importantly support for students and families is second to none.
Cypress Bay classes, clubs, and extracurricular activities are open to all of our students. We offer Specific Programs for our students like YMCA Steps, Best Buddies, a Social Skills Class, Project Search, and a micro-enterprise.
We are proud to offer a team of support facilitators, gifted support, SVE teachers, Speech/ Language Pathologists, Family Counselors, and paraprofessionals who are the most dedicated groups of educators in Broward County.
