Principal's Message

  • Mrs. HallGreetings Parkside Families (updated 11/11/2022),

Wow this have been another crazy week.  We started off on Monday with a full day of school.  Then Tuesday election day and Hurricane Nicole took the rest of the week until Veteran's Day.  While we hope that you enjoyed these days off and thankfully we made it through this storm without any damage.  On Monday, we will start our full week of school before we head into Thanksgiving Break.  It is really important to have all of your children here on time and ready to learn each day. We did want to make you all aware that on Thursday of this week, we did have a small fire in our teacher's lounge. Thankfully, Mr. Brown, our custodian was on campus cleaning up debris and heard the alarms.  It was an electrical fire with a microwave. There was minimal damage to the teachers lounge.  We are also thankful no one was on campus this day.  Several families saw multiple fire and police trucks out at the school so I wanted to make you aware.Just a reminder that we will be having Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on Friday, November 18th.  We had an overwhelming response of families who have RSVP'd.  At this time, if you did not RSVP we cannot allow an additional families to attend this event.  It is such a special day and we want you to enjoy this with your children. Please remember to be patient as there will be a lot of people and there will be back ups.  This day is about being thankful and enjoying time with friends and family.  Please make sure you double check your child's lunch time. Parents, please take a minute and complete the Title I survey for us.  This is one of our compliance pieces in order to continue to receiving Title I funding.  Please click on this link or go on our website and complete this for us.  Thanks so muchhttps://title1compliance.com/goodsurvey/?vfgxxs=QUNFNzYyNzMtRUUwRS00QjQzLThENTEtQTZEODVDNUU5NjQ3KzM2MzE=

Thanks for being a part of Parkside where we are Exploring to the Stars. Have a great rest of your weekend.
