Mrs. Christine Clock, Assistant Principal, Grade 6
Welcome Wildcat Families!
I am excited to collaborate with you as we embark together on the 2024-2025 school year, and I am proud to serve as your sixth grade Assistant Principal. Sixth grade is an exciting time, marked with many changes for our newest Wildcats. It can be a time of transition for our Wildcat families too, especially if your child is your first middle school student. Having served as a former teacher and Assistant Principal of sixth grade for many years, I know this transition period well, and I am confident that our newest Wildcats will have a successful school year as we work together to support them.
Our sixth-grade team is ready to help you with your child during this important educational year of academic, emotional, and social transition. Your child will have many staff members available to assist them. Our goal is to help each child grow to reach their full potential in a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment. Encourage your child to get involved in one of the many clubs, sports, and activities that can serve to enrich and motivate them, along with providing them with new opportunities to make friends! Do not forget to join PTO and to stay up to date on our many parent volunteer opportunities.
School safety is a priority and I ask you to reinforce our school rules: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be safe at all times. Our goal is to make all students feel safe and included. Take time to remind your child of the expectations at school which are in the Student Code of Conduct. Remember, if you see something, say something, so we can work to keep our school safe for everyone.
This year, in a move to protect our students’ mental health, we will have an updated cell phone policy. All students will need to tun off or place phones and other electronic devices in airplane mode and store them away during the school day, including during passing time and lunch time. In addition, all students must keep earbuds and headphones away unless directed by a staff member for educational purposes. Students should not bring game controllers to school as this can cause distractions for themselves and others. Please team up with us to enforce these rules as we work together to protect the mental health and academic focus of your child.
Should your child need help, do not hesitate to reach out to the school. Please feel free to contact me via phone or email to discuss any concerns you may have. I look forward to partnering with you this school year!
