Happy New Year Wildcats!!

The 3rd quarter starts on January 13, 2025, and I encourage all Wildcats to keep striving for success and ensuring we are better than we were yesterday.

Course selection cards will be distributed to current 6th and 7th graders during January (through social studies classes). It is important that they are returned on time as the spots in our electives fill up fast!! Come out to the Great Glen Expo on Thursday, January 23 from 6 pm to 8 pm and learn more about the many exciting electives we offer here at The Glen, as well as our numerous clubs, organizations, and teams. This is a great opportunity to meet and join our PTO – their monthly meetings begin at 6 pm. The FGMS PTO is amazing, and we encourage you to participate. We also encourage you to stop by the media center to view our amazing history students' work for the 2024 History Fair. 

The 24-25 flag football season starts on Thursday, January 23, with our first home game scheduled for 4:30 pm on Friday, January 24. We look forward to you coming out and cheering on our Wildcats.  

The next Paws at the Glen will be held on Friday, January 17 at 10 am. Come out for coffee and conversation with me or join me on Teams. Our monthly SAC and SAF meeting will be held on January 23 at 8:35 am in the media center. We encourage all families to join us.  

On Friday, January 24, 2025, we will be celebrating all Wildcats who were proficient in the FAST PM2 reading or math assessment and those Wildcats who made growth from PM1 to PM2. We will also be hosting our 2nd quarter Positive Behavior field day on Friday, January 24, 2025, and we are excited to celebrate all Wildcats who are making good choices. Here’s to a great year of learning and growth.
