Happy October Wildcat Families!
What a great 1st Quarter we have had so far! Our students have been working hard across the board! As we completed our diagnostic testing our teachers have developed plans to meet our students where they are and to move full speed ahead as we accelerate their learning. We are encouraging our Wildcats to take advantage of all of the resources we have available to help them connect this year. These opportunities include: sports, clubs and all of the amazing school wide events we have planned! This month we enjoyed an amazing Tijuana Flats Family Night and engaged in our first “Paws” with Mrs. G.
I am eager to engage you in your child’s learning. How can I help? This month we will meet on October 28th for our next Parent Engagement “Paws” meeting. In this meeting we will focus on behavior techniques that we can implement at home for our middle school children. Join our Behavior Tech Ms. Charles and me in our Media Center at 8:45 A.M. as we grow and develop together!
Have you joined our PTO yet? If not, please consider doing so today! They are working on some BIG plans so please don’t hesitate to support them and us!
Keep in mind parents, if your child is struggling academically you must take the first step to help them…what is this step you ask? Schedule a parent conference! Conferences are held virtually on every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Let’s develop a plan together to help your child succeed!
Please ask your child about our Glen House Rules this month. This is our new Positive Behavior Plan and our Glen House Rules hold our kiddies accountable to three very specific expectations no matter where they are in our school. These include- Being Responsible, Being Respectful, and Being Safe! What does this look like? Our students will be engaged in activities all month long as they learn how to excel as a Wildcat within our Glen House Rules….and they will also be rewarded for doing so! Stay Tuned!
I hope to see and/or hear from you very soon! Remember I am a simple email, call or visit away to giving you and your child the support you may need.
Your Dedicated Wildcat,
