Before and After School Child Care

The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:
- an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
- a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
- a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

Hispanic Unity of Florida Program Overview
Hispanic Unity of Florida is a Youth Development Program. The program provides struggling high school students with opportunities for academic remediation and enrichment career exploration, community civic engagement, hands-on experiential learning activities and other skills-building activities designed to promote youth development, as well as school and future success.
Activities and Services Offered:- Supper/ snacks
- academic assessments
- individualize academic guidance
- support students to meet graduation requirements
- credit recovery
- homework assistance
- tutoring
- science projects assistance
- math
- career exploration activities
- music, dance, art, poetry,
- culinary, gardening,
- health and wellness activities,
- relaxation techniques and mindfulness sessions
- colleges tours and field trips.

United Community Program After Care, Private Provider Approved by the School Board
United community options, Our child care program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitored homework time. Our students have opportunities to learn new skills, socialize, and interact with their peers.
