Workforce
Going straight into a job is one option that provides more financial freedom and although it is not a long-term solution it can be the bridge for one.
Entering the workforce is another path a student can take after graduation. It's one that allows students to gain money and save for big financial decisions they need to make like paying for college in the future or renting a home or purchasing a car. However, as with all other paths it should be carefully planned and thought out. You should be thinking of creating a resume, acquiring more skills from programs offered at South Broward, and researching jobs you would enjoy and are capable of doing. Usually, this path is a stepping stone into a different one whether that be college, a technical school, or a career is up to the plan that you create and accomplish.
If you are a job seeker, CareerSource Broward has everything you need to assist you with your job search or lead you to information to help you gain the skills to conduct a search.
It is CareerSource Broward’s goal to help you to become more competitive in your job search. Once you have a résumé, please ensure you update it periodically, so that employers can view your most recent qualifications. We wish you the best in your job search!
