Students in the Health and Wellness program had the opportunity to spend the day at Broward Health hospital in Fort Lauderdale shadowing their very own nurse. Students were paired with nurses from all different departments and got to spend a few hours side by side with them. The students were able to observe direct patient care and see what it is like to work as a nurse. Once the students finished up the shadowing portion of the day, the hospital provided lunch to the students and allowed them to eat with their mentors and continue the great conversations about the profession.
