District Academic Options
The Advanced Placement program created by the College Board allows students to complete college-level course work while in high school. Upon successful completion of course work and corresponding exam, students can earn three to six college credits for each Advanced Placement course. Broward County Public Schools has partnered with Broward College, University of Florida, Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to provide eligible students opportunities in college courses while in high school. Health & Wellness
Students in the Health and Wellness program have the opportunity to spend the day shadowing their very own nurse. They ae paired with nurses from all different departments while spending a few hours observing direct patient care. Learn more about our Health and Wellness program.
Students have the opportunity to participate in experiential learning throughout our Prep Academies. Programs include aerospace, computer science, culinary, performing arts, pre-law and more!
