The Parkway Middle School Band Academy allows students an opportunity to learn about music and the ways in which to use their instruments to be better performers. Throughout the year, the band is called upon to assist with many areas of the Parkway Middle School of the Arts, like playing music for the dance, vocal, and theater academies. We also travel extensively throughout the school year to band competitions to demonstrate our skills and knowledge. 

Supporting young people in creative learning and artistic endeavors will engage and enrich them in all aspects of their lives. The presence of music, team building, and collaboration is an important skill for our students. The band programs offer students exciting challenges - participating in shows, concerts, competitions, solo and ensemble auditions. Parkway Middle School's band program offers a wide range of instruments - from strings to percussion, brass, and woodwinds.
