 The Broward Women's Alliance is a local professional women's group that awards $1000 scholarships each year to beginning and continuing undergraduate and graduate students from Broward who are enrolled in a higher education program.

Got a Spine Scholarship

DEADLINE: May 02, 2023, $500 

To be eligible for the Arctic Chiropractic "Got a Spine Scholarship" a student must:

1) Be attending college or university no later than October of 2023.

2) Be attending college or university on a full-time basis by October of 2023.

3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.

4) Be a U.S. or Canadian resident.

Aaron Johnson Scholarship Application

 

This scholarship is administered by the George Snow Scholarship Fund.  All applications are kept confidential and vetted by the Aaron Johnson Scholarship Board.

 

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE

Complete applications must be received by 5:00PM EST on May 1^st, 2023

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

The applicant must:

• Be a high school senior from Broward County, FL
• Be a United States citizen.
• Plan to attend an accredited college, university, or recognized vocational/technical school.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed Experiences and Essays form
• Copy of current high school transcript
• Two letters of recommendation—one academic reference and one community-related reference.
• A personal or virtual interview may also be required of selected applicants.

 

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The one-time amount of $2,500 will be awarded to two scholars selected by the scholarship committee. Those selected will be notified through email.

 

The recipients shall be required to submit funding information prior to award disbursement.

Before beginning this scholarship application, please read the following information carefully:

 

• Completed applications must be submitted by 5:00PM EST on May 1^st, 2023.
• Both letters of recommendation and a high school transcript must be attached in order to submit a complete application.
• Complete all relevant fields. Fields that are not applicable to the individual must be marked “N/A”.
• Do not include any photographs with your application.
• Any changes in email address and contact information must be reported to the scholarship committee as soon as possible since all scholarship communications will be held over email. If the applicant cannot be reached by email, there is a chance they could lose the scholarship opportunity.
• All applications and requested information become the property of the Aaron Johnson Scholarship.
• Note that all scholarship committee decisions are final and that appeals are not accepted.
• Any applications that do not follow instructions and/or do not include appropriate document uploads will be rejected.
