    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    Unity 4Teens is a comprehensive Youth Development program offered at five Broward County public schools. The program helps increase academic performance, improve self-esteem, develop social and life skills and foster civic responsibilities among the students. The entire family benefits from all Hispanic Unity’s programs and services through our 2Generation approach. Unity 4Teens is a free program that runs throughout the school year in the afternoons and during summer.



    Activities and Services Offered:

    • Academic Enrichment activities

    • Homework Assistance

    • Project Based Learning

    • Community Service Projects

    • Prevention Education

    • Physical Fitness Activities

    • Case Management Services

    • Family Support Services

    Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete an application online at www.browardschools.com/bascc

    Please note an application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability. If the program has reached capacity, your child(ren) will be added to the program’s waitlist.
