Mrs. Pompilus is a veteran teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching Language Arts at Attucks Middle School.  She is a kind and passionate teacher who believes that ongoing education is the key to personal growth.

Mrs. Badri is a quiet storm in the classroom, she creates fun and engaging lessons to help students grow academically.  Her years of teaching experience in Dade County and love for her students have made her a perfect fit in the Attucks family.

Mr. Harrington comes to us from Fort Lauderdale High School's Cambridge Program.  He is a dedicated and highly-qualified teacher with a passion for his students. 

Mrs. Jean is a long time staff member of Attucks Middle School who decided to follow her passion and become a teacher.  Mrs. Jean currently serves as our 6th Grade Reading and Literacy Support teacher and helps us ensure that all our students are college and career ready. Mrs. Jean is also our cheerleading coach, SOAR Program Coordinator, and participates actively in every aspect of the school to support her students.  All of this hard work and dedication paid off this year when she was voted 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year for Attucks Middle.

Ms. McCarter is  certified in exceptional student education and does double duty providing Literacy support to our students with special needs, and teaching reading strategies to help our Eagles rise to the challenge of being college & career ready!

Mrs. Sufra comes to Attucks Middle School with 4 years of elementary school experience and a degree in exceptional studet education.  We are happy to have her as part of our family.

Ms. Montaque is a veteran Attucks teacher with experience in both Elementary and Secondary education.  She is a strong Reading teacher who places a high value on the power to read and was recognized as a High Impact Teacher by the State of Florida.  In addition to teaching Reading, she also serves as our Hispanic Unity aftercare program director.

Mrs. Morrison comes to us as a veteran teacher from the beautiful island of Jamaica.  She is a constant supporter of our students and conducts our Literary Fair annually.  Mrs. Morrison has embraced the push towards technology integration and is now a leader in our department when it comes to using technology in the classroom.

Mrs. George O'brien is our wonderful Reading teacher for the 8th grade.  She has been teaching for over 30 years and has multiple certifications to her name.  She enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and traveling.
