The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:
- an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
- a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
- a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

After Care Overview
School Board Operated (SBO) Program
Our child care program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitor homework time. Our students have opportunities to learn new skills, socialize, and interact with their peers.
Activities and Services Offered:- Monitored Homework Time.
- Technology Access.
- Educational Components.
- Indoor/Outdoor Activities, Arts and Craft, Cooking, Snacks, In-House Field Trips.

Registration Process
Aftercare Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on July 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
Online Application
Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete an application online at www.browardschools.com/BASCCPlease note an application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability. If the program has reached capacity, your child (ren) will be added to the program’s wait list.
