    Here we recognize non-instructional staff members who have provided essential services to Hollywood Hills High School while demonstrating excellence of performance, personal interaction, initiative and creativity, and outstanding achievement.

    Our Non-Instructional Employee of the Year Program and this web page serve as tools to recognize these non-academic leaders as they assist in shaping the future of our students, school, community, and peers.  We celebrate these professionals and thank them for their outstanding achievements and contributions in their roles as non-instructional staff members in service to Hollywood Hills High School, and to the Hills community.  In every case, their services to our school provide specific evidence of excellence worthy of recognition.  We applaud these non-instructional employees and recognize that they are not only outstanding in their roles as school employees, but also show evidence of distinction within their field.   

     

    2020-2021 Non-Instructional Employee of the Year!

    Mr. Dave Mitchell
     
     
     

    Mr. Dave Mitchell is the proud 2020-2021 Non-Instructional Staff Member of the Year and will represent Hollywood Hills High School at the District level. Mr. Mitchell is a long-time employee at Hollywood Hills and is the Facilities Management Department’s second-in-command. The Spartan Family enthusiastically voted for Mr. Mitchell and are proud to have him represent our school! 

    Mr. Mitchell believes that a clean school is the foundation for sound learning. He is committed to maintaining the school to his team’s greatest abilities and strives to ensure Hollywood Hills’ campus is operating effectively. One of Mr. Mitchell’s favorite compliments is when visitors notice the shine on the hallway floors. “You can almost see your reflection,” Mr. Mitchell says with a smile on his face.

    Mr. Espinosa, the Assistant Principal over Facilities, appreciates the effort put forth by the Custodial Team led by Mr. Mitchell. “I am very fortunate to have such a leader on my team. Dave (Mr. Mitchell) does it all! And, he does it well,” said Mr. Espinosa. No matter the task, Mr. Mitchell is on hand to make it happen, and the Spartan Family is excited for the opportunity to recognize his efforts. 

    As a husband and father, Mr. Mitchell recognizes the importance of education. He feels that his contributions to the system matter, and he puts forth his best efforts to provide the staff and students with a safe and clean environment. It is an honor to recognize Mr. Dave Mitchell as our Non-Instruction Staff Member of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year! He truly deserves this recognition!
