Hi! My name is Christina Calderon and I am thrilled to be teaching the ASD Self-Contained Kindergarten class this year. I graduated from Florida State University with my Master in Science in Exceptional Student Education, and I also have a specialization in Early Intervention and Autism. My third specialization is in Applied Behavior Analysis, in which I received from Nova Southeastern University. I am a native South Floridian, who wants to stay in the area to work in the education field. I worked as a lead ESE Teacher at the Baudhuin Preschool for a little over 6 years, and after taking two years to care for my small children, I am excited to enter back into teaching! I love incorporating healthy eating and living habits into my classroom, as well as help to foster each child's creativity and independence through music, art, and movement. I'm really looking forward to this school year!
