The Opportunity

  • The Collaborative Internship for All (CIA) is a new initiative of Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) to help expand the pipeline of high-quality, trained providers to help address the shortages of mental health service professionals in schools. This initiative embraces the multifaceted approach to foster a broad exposure to the individualized and collaborative work of multiple mental health related disciplines within the District, such as School Social Work, School Counseling, School Psychology, Family Counseling, and Employee Assistance Program. This initiative was made possible through the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program. This is an exceptional internship program for students with the goal of becoming a school-based mental health professional.
