  • The Office of School Choice assists parents, guardians, schools, and the community at large with the School Choice process.

    School Choice (School Board policy 6400) provides parents/guardians the option to request a different school other than the assigned school based on the child's home address.

    If your student is new to Broward County Public Schools (BCPS), a student number & a 24–hour wait is required before you can apply for School Choice. Retrieve the student number by January 16, 2025 to ensure you can apply by the deadline.
