On Tuesday, September 15, BCPS Superintendent Robert W. Runcie provided a school reopening update at the School Board Meeting, which included the following:
- Downward trend of school reopening gating criteria
- School reopening teacher survey
- Upcoming parent survey about the preferred learning model
- Districtwide safeguards and Phase 2 reopening plan
- Recommendation to be made at September 22 School Board Workshop to return to face-to-face learning on Monday, October 5
