    Mrs. Nayelli is thrilled to start another year at Country Isles! She joined the CIE family in 2012 after six years of teaching in Plantation, FL and says she couldn’t think of a better place to work. She’s also excited to be teaching fifth grade because it's such a fun and memorable year for the students! 

    Mrs. Nayelli decided to become a teacher when she was only in 3rd grade after joining the FFEA (Future Florida Educators of America). Her fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Karen Murphy, was also a big inspiration. She graduated from FAU with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and earned her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She also has special certifications in reading and ESOL. 

    When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Nayelli loves spending time with her friends and family. She is married with two kids- Lincoln and Giselle. She also loves chocolate covered strawberries (anything chocolate if we’re being honest), Starbucks, purple pens, peonies, and anything that sparkles!!

    If you’re in Mrs. Nayelli’s class this year, get ready to go digital! She loves incorporating technology into her lessons as well as problem-based learning, which prepares students for 21st century careers. She believes it’s important to get kids ready for the real world, where being tech savvy and a team player are necessary skills. You will be debating, experimenting, engineering, creating art, getting up and active, composing essays, READ-READ-READING, and having so much fun while doing it!
