The Band Department at Attucks Middle School Global Communications Academy strives to promote 21st Century skills and hand-on learning through highly engaging student based performing arts electives.

Foreign Language Pathway develops listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the target language and demonstrates cross-cultural attitudes and behaviors in the target language.

Speech and Debate students learn to research, logic, organization of ideas, manipulation of language, assessment of audience, self-esteem, and engagement in world events.

The Business & Technology Pathway combines the Microsoft Office Suite Certification and the CAPE Business curriculum to prepare students for success in the 21st Century. 

The Health, Fitness, & Leadership pathway at Attucks Middle School focuses on the whole student through building a healthy body, mind, and attitude.

Through TV Production & Broadcast Arts, students build a foundation in journalism, interviewing skills, speaking on camera, as well as more technical aspects of TV production such as filming, editing, studio managing, and Photoshop.
