BCPS Expands Afterschool Supper Program 114 District Schools Now Offer Nutritious Meals in Aftercare Programs

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is expanding its Afterschool Supper Program to include six additional school sites in 2018/19, for a total of 114 schools serving nutritious meals to students.

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) preference is to retain and expand the current School Resource Officer (SRO) program as part of the District’s overall safety and security efforts. Under the SRO program, BCPS partners with local municipalities and the Broward Sheriff’s Office to assign certified law enforcement officers at schools.
