Mrs. Patricia Michaud

Mrs. Patricia Michaud, also known as Ms. M., has been employed by Sheridan Technical College and Technical High School since 2013. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She worked as a Physical Education teacher and Physical Education Director at the Charlestown (MA) Boys and Girls Club.  Ms. M. received a Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education at Bridgewater State University (MA). Soon after, she gave birth to twin boys and took a hiatus from her career to care for her young children.

Mrs. Michaud and her family moved from Massachusetts to Florida in 2005 and she held various positions before getting her start at Sheridan Technical College. She taught Adult Basic Education, Applied Academics for Adult Education, General Education Development (GED), and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for seven years before joining the high school staff. Ms. M. also served as Vocational and Career Advisor for Adult General Education students at Sheridan Technical College during the 2020-2021 school year. She is currently enjoying teaching the Tech Studies course to tenth graders, helping them prepare for decisions on Career Dual Enrollment (CDE) programs.

On a personal note, Ms. M. and her husband enjoy bicycle riding and are still avid Boston sports fans. She has enjoyed following Tom Brady’s career as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, but still roots for the New England Patriots.
