Peter Wizenberg was born and raised in New York City. He has degrees in Liberal Studies and Law, and was on law review at FIU College of Law. He has had careers in the financial world as well as as an attorney. His teaching experience is at both the undergraduate and high school levels, as well as in professional standardized test preparation and private tutoring.

Among the courses he has taught are all levels of mathematics, from algebra to calculus and statistics. In addition, he has taught philosophy, political science, world history, economics and human geography.
