Mr. Cogan, also known as Mr. C, holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude in History from Harvard University, and an Master Business Administration in Technology and Finance from The Anderson School at UCLA. Prior to becoming a teacher in the Broward Schools in 2012, Mr. C had a successful career on Wall Street as a money manager and investment adviser. He also worked for many years in business development for several software companies in California.

Mr. C. is super excited to return to his first love, which is teaching history. He is the author of Teach200Words, an innovative vocabulary building program which helps students think about history and language while developing their vocabulary and writing skills.  

Bringing his expertise to the classroom, he is thrilled to be a part of the Sheridan Technical staff, teaching both AP US History (APUSH) and Honors US History.  Mr. C believes that his 25+ years of industry experience and world travels will inspire his students to do great things, both inside the classroom and beyond.

On a personal note, Mr. C also coaches high school golf and is a firm believer that a healthy mind and a healthy body go hand in hand. Mr. C is also the Coach of the Sheridan Technical High 'School Duel Squad', and hopes to see the Wolves triumphant on BECON TV.
