Mr. Ruslan Tabachynsky
Mr. Ruslan Tabachynsky was born and raised in Ukraine. He attended Drogobych State Pedagogical University in Ukraine (obtaining Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mathematics Education with Minor in Computer Education) as well as Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida (obtaining Master’s of Science Degree in Mathematics Education. He is certified in Mathematics (6-12) and Physics (6-12) as well as National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (2006-2016).
During Mr. Tabachynsky’s teaching career he received many awards and recognitions, among them was Broward County SECME Coordinator of the Year award. In addition, there were several articles published about his teaching accomplishments in Ukrainian and American newspapers. One of the articles (Schools Comb the World for Teachers) was published on May 7, 2001 in the Herald newspaper. Mr. Tabachynsky worked 5 years at Dillard High School in its Hi-Tech Magnet program and 14 years at Deerfield Beach High School in its MYP and IB Magnet program. He is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian languages and also understands some basic Polish.
On a personal note, Mr. Tabachynsky is married and has 2 kids: a daughter and a son. He likes to spend his free time outdoors and go saltwater fishing. Mr. Tabachynsky’s favorite motto is: Whatever you learn, cannot be burnt out by fire, cannot be washed out by water, cannot be stolen by a thief!
